Vacation - Zion

We got to go on vacation for a week in Utah. We went to Zion National park and Bryce Canyon and had a great time! I've never been to these kinds of places. God's handiwork is truly amazing!





We went on a few short hikes in Zion. I thought it was cool when the trail got narrow.



Abby did really well in the backpack. Yes, she was bored, she waved at everyone we passed, and ate more fruit snacks than I can count. I think this is the ONLY time the whole week she took a nap :0) Thank you thank you for the loaner, dodsons!

Park with Grandma

John's mom took Abby to the park by our house. We go there a lot. She loves going down the slides, swings, and trying to copy what the "big kids" do. There's a few more pics on sweet girl photo.

Blueberries with Grandma

John's mom came for a visit last week. John found a great U-pick blueberry patch and we had fun picking! I was glad they let Abby eat as she picked - she is well trained in eating straight from the plant. :0) We made blueberry scones & pancakes . . .

Abby loves to play with John. They were outside - playing on the step stool (a favorite "toy"), having fun with a cheap party toy, and just goofing off.

Flowers

I took a bunch of pictures of Abby in the flower fields. I wanted to make sure I got some before the short bloom season ended. I love taking pictures of her! There's more on my photo blog

Actually, she's pretty good at getting things on her fork. But I couldn't resist . . .
What's she drinking? A banana malt. Reminiscent of Zips - except mine actually has a banana in it.
